CD Mastering
CDs continue to be an important mainstay within a great number of genres, despite the growing dominance of online music. Fans still appreciate the physical product, and the CD offers a great combination of the physical and digital realms.
CD mastering takes a similar approach to digital mastering, with the additional final stage being creation of a DDP (Disc Description Protocol) CD master, which is the format preferred by all major manufacturers. For albums destined for a CD release, remote DDP approval enables every aspect of a project to be checked before it is sent for manufacturing, including sequence, levels and all metadata. We achieve this by supplying standalone players with every DDP CD Master.
